Makeover Portrait Sessions

Have you ever:
wondered how good you could really look? 
wanted pictures you could treasure of YOU?
wanted to give a picture of yourself to a friend or loved one?

This is your chance to get those images that you want, in the style you want.

In the space of a couple of hours, a professional  makeup artist  will make you look absolute best, we'll photograph you in a range of poses and with a range of expressions, then you change your outfit and look and we start again.

At the end of the shoot you can view the "proofs" on screen and see "how we done".

The proofs will be put on-line and you can invite your friends and family to look at them too. (The website location can be password protected if you prefer). You then choose the pictures you like.

In addition to the beautician's skills, I will use my skills to apply some digital magic to your pictures to improve them still further.

After a few days your album will be ready for your collection, or we can post it to you.

It doesn't end there.

You will have been poring over the pictures on the world wide web, but now you will be able to judge how the quality of the prints compares with the printed images.  You'll want to buy more, your friends may want some too.  You can buy them all (and make me very happy), but the choice is yours with no pressure.

The makeover portrait sessions take place in my studio in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. That's only 25 minutes by a regular train service from Edinburgh   If you book an early evening slot, you can leave fully made up and ready to hit the town.
 

How are we different from other portrait makeover services?

The Photography:- I'm a professional photographer specialising in portrait photography - it's how I make my living.

The Makeover:-  I only use a  professional and qualified makeup artist - it's how she makes her living.

The Shoot:-  We take our time, and you have several sessions in the makeup chair so you get a selection of looks.  You can also change your outfit as many times as you like to experiment and get what you want.

The Pictures:- We make the rash assumption that after you have spend a couple of hours with us you actually want some pictures, and not just a lab processed 5"x7" print as many of our competitors offer.  So our package comes complete with the pictures to treasure.  Then if you buy more, or your friends buy more we charge realistic prices.

The Business:- We are small - we don't have receptionists, lab assistants, janitors, secretaries, directors, managers or gofors to pay. 

The Album
After the shoot you can view the pictures on the computer and decide which 20 you would like in your album. Or, you can go home and chose the pictures on the web. You are welcome to come back and make the final choice on the studio monitor.
The images are digitally retouched (airbrushed) and made into your own hard-cover book.

I can add a personal message within the book if you wish.
After a few days you can pick up the album or I can post it to you.

 



Prices
Our prices are very competitive, because our overheads are low (see "The Business" above) we direct your fee into our time.  We simply spend more time on you and your images than our competitors.
Price for the shoot, the makeup artist, and your chosen 20 pictures in a hardbacked "coffee table" style album is only £290.
